Fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli and Lori Loughlin have officially filed for divorce, ending their nearly 30-year marriage just about a year after the pair separated in secret.
The Full House actress, 62, filed for divorce in Los Angeles on September 4, 2026. Loughlin filed the paperwork saying he and the woman had “irreconcilable differences” and that they had separated on Aug. 31, 2025.
Loughlin and Giannulli, 63, were married in 1997 and have two daughters, Isabella Rose and social media star Olivia Jade Giannulli. The couple had earlier announced that they were living apart, and their relationship was in “break,” but at the time there was no official divorce.
The most recent filing also shows that the couple signed a “prenup” agreement. As for spousal support, there is no mention of a resolution in court documents, but other property and financial issues will be resolved as part of that agreement.

The divorce filing follows a string of big property transactions by the former couple.
Their most prominent one was a large modern Hidden Hills, California farm home. Loughlin and Giannulli bought the estate in 2020 for $9.5 million, and then listed it for sale in April 2024 for $17.5 million.
This property was listed over a year ago – and off for a while – and finally sold for $12.65 million in November 2025. The couple still sold the home for nearly $5 million less than what they had first asked for, but still made a lot of money above the actual asking price.
The 11,800-square-foot structure was built on 1.57 acres and included a luxurious gym, movie theater, wine room, chef’s kitchen, swimming pool, spa, bocce court and outdoor entertaining areas. The gated Hidden Hills community is also the home of celebrities and luxury homes.
The previous couple also did business when they separated, selling another California property. The La Quinta property recently sold for $16.5 million, which is the amount they paid in 2021, for an estimated profit of $3.5 million. The sale was a major milestone in their real estate divorce.
Public Scrutineering of a Marriage:
The college admissions scandal, known as the Varsity Blues scandal in 2019, put a huge strain on Loughlin and Giannulli’s relationship.
The couple admitted to paying $500,000 to help their daughters get in to the University of Southern California as recruits pretending to be athletes when the girls didn’t row. Both were found guilty on the charge of conspiracy.
Loughlin spent two months in federal prison and Giannulli five months. They were also required to perform community service and pay fines.
Loughlin slowly made his way back to acting, after the scandal, She has been seen in such projects as When Hope Calls, and eventually got the opportunity to work in Amazon prime’s On Call. She also appeared as a guest on Curb Your Enthusiasm, where a storyline mentioned the controversy of her public image.
